Route command

Hello,
i try to route my computer using route command in DOS to another network, the routing is ok but now when i try to open the file server on my network it not opening, but the file server in the network which i route is open... i dont know what to do? any suggesstions

Just because you know the route, does not mean you have access to the resources at the end of the route.

Do you have valid login credentials on the server you are trying to gain access to?

yes i know the password.... but even though when i try to give IP address of the server in RUN it shows network path not found..... feeling bad...
