How do I recover my emails?

Hello,

Today I lost over 3 years of emails from my laptop and I don't know how. I checked the following folder for any pst or ost: C:\Documents and Settings\name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook and all of the files were todays date except this one: spscoll.dat. i am currently running a recovery program to try any recover any files. I have a firewall running and havent found any damage to any other files so I am at a loss.

Are the emails missing from just the Inbox? Do you happen to have a filter in Outlook set which may be not showing your entire Inbox contents?

Have you checked the Deleted Items folder? How about the Recover Deleted Items view (go to Deleted Items, then Tools > Recover Deleted Items)?
