Hello, I have this very old windows xp computer and I keep getting this error saying dns_probe_finished_bad_config
any time I try to type to go to a site on google chrome. I can't visit any site and it's very frustrating, if anyone can help me out I would be very thankful

Here's the solution, Vladimir:

- Disabling network prediction
- Latest updates for routers and drives
- Remove incompatible drivers
- Check-up of DNS for hijacking
- Flushing the DNS
- Considering the DNS one is using

Wow, you have managed to resurrect a 6 month post for a fix! Nice! What is network prediction? How do I check for DNS hijacking? How would I know that my DNS has been hijacked? Would I need to be an admin to make changes to my network adapter?

Flusing DNS will solve this error :

Go to start and search for cmd.
Open cmd, and type the following command.
ipconfig /flushdns

Dont forget to run it as admin!
