Change calculated to a hard date

I used a +1 formula to create dates in column A. Now I want to make these "hard" dates so they don't keep changing every time I add a row.

Select the cells.
Control-C to Copy. (Copy)
Control-Alt-V to paste (Paste Special Values)
Choose Past Text.
The formulae will be replace with Text.

Later versions of Excel may have a bit of difficulty and give a prompt for paste unformatted text or something like that.
