Hello usha,
I think in this forum an issue similar to yours has been resolved. Take a look here: https://ccm.net/faq/7909-dell-laptop-screen-goes-blank-after-starting-windows
You can also find some info regarding your issue in the knowledge base of Microsoft: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows?ui=en-US&rs=en-001&ad=US
However, sometimes the reason for your screen to go black is that your latop is not receiving enough cooling and the videochip gets desoldered. I think the best you can do is to bring your laptop to a technician to make some tests.
Hope this helps.
