Hi, I had a power outage the other day. Since then my Internet for my desktop won't work. I have reset it, trouble shooter it with century link. My modem is fine. I have changed the ip address and tried everything they said. Nothing works. I am still able to use my WiFi but I really need my desktop to work as well.

Did you power cycle the router or is the router integrated into the modem?
I would try powering down the computer and then unplug the router for 5 minutes or more. Then plug the router back in. Wait for it to finish initializing before you start the computer.
If that doesn't work you can try reseting the router to factory defaults.

I assume you tried connecting the desktop directly to the modem. A successful connection would point to the router as the problem.

Good Luck
