My hp pavilion dv6700

Hello,
My HP laptop won't turn on. All it does is flash the lights and go off. I've tried the hard reboot but it still doesn't power on. Please help.

Welcome to Kioskea Forum

Did you try,
1) switch off the laptop
2) remove the battery
3) press power button for 30 sec
4) replace the battery
5) switch on the laptop

If not did you hear any beeps at startup?

It is better to reply us whether the problem is resolved or not!

Yes I tried that several times. It makes a clicking noise. The lights flash on and you hear the noise all within a few seconds. The computer never comes on.

If it is switch on then off suddenly then try without using battery!
if still problem persist then motherboard have some work you need a technician.

Thanks. Yeah I did the reboot with both the battery in and with the battery out. Nothing happened neither time. Thank you anyway for your assistance
