Hi Benj,
Do you get some error message when failing to boot? I recommend you to enter BIOS and check if the hard drive is visible there. Use the Advanced Boot Menu and try the Last Known Good Configuration or try starting using Safe Mode. If your laptop is under warranty, contact the reseller.
