Problem in laptop

Hello,

I have a problem with my e system laptop I am going to download something and suddenly it has a black screen but the power light is on and the fan is off. Then I remove the battery and again put in and on it but only its light is on and has black screen even there is no sound of fan ... Plzz help me my name is faraz...
