Hi, I use a Toshiba laptop running windows 10, I just updated. The keyboard worked fine before I updated, but when I tried to log in again, I realized my 1, 2, and space bar keys did not function. I tried things from resetting to taking out the battery and holding down the start button for 60 seconds. Any ideas how I can fix this so I don't have to type with my phone?

I had the exact problem but discovered that by holding down the FN key the space bar, 1, and 2 keys worked. On a whim, I removed Toshiba Function Key from programs, downloaded the latest version from Toshiba and installed it. All keys work fine now including the mute function key which also did not work.

Thank you - finally some sort of answer! I ended up reverting back to windows 8 because it was so frustrating. I will copy this answer down and try it all over again soon.

I also had the same problem and now with FN and space it works, but its terrible to write this way. How can we know if Toshiba will release a driver for keyboard for Windows 10?

Perhaps the keyboard language changed when you updated the OS. Go to the keyboard icon in Control Panel to check the language setting.

Good luck

IT's the FIRST DAY! Really! You should have looked into this before your (THE) first day. What I mean by that is: Did you do any research to see if your Toshiba Hardware was compatible?

Perhaps Microsoft Win 10 help forums should be the place to look.
