Help choosing the right monitor for my new tower

Just bought a Zoostorm Desktop PC AMD A8-7600 Quad tower and now my old monitor says out of range and screen is blank. I see that the tower supports a white DVI connection whilst my monitor connection is blue. Could this be the problem? And does this mean I need to buy a new monitor or just a new cable and will work with both. Thanks

I suggest you try to boot into "safe mode". It should be in VGA mode an then allow you to change the resolution.
