Hello,
My daughter moved into the dorm for college. They informed us that the dorm has internet, just plug your router into the wall. We did that and activated the router. All good, but it shows connected to the Wi-Fi, but no internet access. No matter if it is tablet or phone, it shows the same thing. we have limited access time for parents to be in the dorm. just trying to figure it out. thanks for any help.

It's best to contact the college tech Support office. My experience is that most colleges do not allow wifi routers to be connected because of security issues. Normally they allow only a direct cable connection to a PC and provide their own wifi for the students.
