HP Computer dead?

Hello,
I was using the computer this morning, left it on, and went to get a cuppa. When I came back, screen was black, with white text saying Intel(R)Matrix Storage Manager. I pressed return, and another message came saying System Disk Error innsert disk and press return. Eventually I tried system restore, only to get Runtime Error! Program X: Windowssystem 32 estore7.exe
What is wrong ????

hi,
a problem might have occured and that could have damaged your hard disk.
try it on another computer to access your data and do a back-up.
you should set the jumper as slave first.
if even though you cannot access it, this means that the hard disk is damaged.
get it replaced.
