ALL pictures icon change to folder icon and extension changed

PLEASE HELP ME :(

I accidentally click an ads and suddenly download a file. I'm about to delete it but then again, I accidentally open it instead of Open Location. Then, all pictures everything were changed to .png and the icons of ALL pictures change to folder icon (Folder with thumbnail icon). Even the Windows Key+Printscreens, they automatically become .png not .jpg type.

Can you do a Windows restore to a date/time before this problem started?
