Facebook won't work

Hello,
For some reason I cannot get Facebook to load on my iMac - I just updated the OS with El Capitan on Monday - on Tuesday all i got for Facebook was a blank page - nothing but space - I can't seem to figure out what the problem is - Anybody have an answer ? If so I would appreciate the info - thanks !

Is your time correct on your MAC?

It is just simplest first! Is facebook the only page that will not load?

On Thursday evening Facebook came back on its own apparently the system was down and now it is fixed.
