Just built a new PC monitor wont turn on

Hello,
Just built a new PC when I turn the PC on everything works, the fans the lights, but the monitor is not getting signal. I have tried a different monitor and nothing. I have connected the keyboard and the CAPS button toggle off and on when pressed. Any suggestions of what I should try????

What type of connection are you using? Do you have the drivers installed for the display port? Hang in there!
