Can't ping each other PC

Hello, My computer is connected to the network by using a LAN and my laptop connected with wifi. what I want to ask is why I can't ping each other? Is it because of LAN and wifi can't connect to each other? Why? and if it could, how? do i have to change my router configuration??
using Fiberhome model AN5506-04FG
