Cant Remeber My Password Compaq Laptop

Hello,
I have a Compaq Laptop with Windows Vista. I had a password, but I recently changed it, and I moved my laptop into the study and never logged off. I Moved it back into my room and my laptop was having a spaz attack so I logged off, and now I cant remember my password :S Only the hint is cronoongahz and has something to do with my boyfriend because he is croation and I CANT remember, I dont have a disk set to reset the password. How do I fix this? Can I reboot it without losing documents or pictures (that isnt a huge problem, I can collect the pictures back off bebo but I really would like to keep all of them.)

Need a response ASAP
