Windows 10 upgrade asking for a password

Hello, I upgraded to windows 10 several weeks ago and never set up a pass word ( I never had one for windows 8 either) this morning it asks me for a pass word. No one else has access to this pc. Please help

what about try to enter into it without password?

Here is how to stop the computer from asking for a password every time:

Right-click the Windows Logo (Start Button) and click "Run"
Type netplwiz and click "OK"
Uncheck "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer."

Thank you for that, I've tried entering with out p/w. quite a few times. I can't right click the start button as there is no start button shown. I have a black screen with my name and email address with the p/w box, down in the right hand corner there is a power and WI FI symbol and characters showing what my key board is set up as, there are no other logos or symbols shown. I can however click on the power button do a restart and I can access F2 (set up) & F12 (boot set up) Thank you for any other help

Hi again I've got the pc fired up I was putting in passwords from my other pc and the faulty fired up. I immediatly clicked the start button typed in netplwiz and sure enough the password box was checked,so unchecked that. Now I'm to scared to turn the pc off! Thank you for your prompt reply and help

Did you use the password of your another pc on the pc which you have issue?

Yes I also tried the day before but nothing hapened but to day yipee Thank you
