Windows 8 Inspiron 11 won't turn on

Hello,

So my sister Windows 8 Dell Inspiron 11 won't turn on. Actually it turns on but the screen is black and I tried F8 and all but its not working. I need help fast before he finds out.

Hello,

Try this 1

Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power

button for 60 seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON

the laptop and later put the battery back into the laptop.

Am I removing the battery from the power cord or the laptop?
