Upgrading to latest version of Skype on Samsung tablet

Hi,

When I'm on Skype calls I often have a very distracting ringing noise as though Skype is still ringing in the background after the I'm connected. There's a little icon on my Skype photo that says I need to upgrade to the latest Skype version. Having only recently got this tablet, and I'm not very computer savvy, I need help with a) how to upgrade to the latest Skype version, and b) how to check my settings in case there is some "sound" issue that I need to resolve.

Maybe upgrading to the latest version of Skype might resolve this sound issue.
