Hi there,

open up CMD and type DISKPART

then type list disk

type select disk <number>

type clean

type format FS=NTFS QUICK FORMAT

Try opening it now.

if it still doesnt work then close and open CMD again and type CHKDSK <letter>: /r

Hi Miraj,

The suggested method usually solves these kinds of issues. I would recommend you to try formatting the drive while in Safe Mode and while using another PC. Do you receive an error message while following the Diskpart commands? Please open Disk Management and check if the drive appears with a proper file format and drive letter.

Hope this helps
