Using edge browser when connecting to internet message to call [Solved]

Hello,

Message said to call 844 332-2448 that I had dangerous virus and cannot log on internet. Just keep repeating message. I can use chrome browser with no problem. What should I do to get rid of this problem?

Thanks, I have finally solved the problems however I appreciate your help. Deleted the temp files and cookies and installed new antivirus software so hopefully will prevent from happening in the future.

I suggest you don't call, it's a scam.

Delete all of your temporary files and cookies in Edge.

I also suggest that your computer does not have sufficient protection against hackers.

I think I have solved the problem. Deleted the cookies and temp files. I have also installed new antivirus software. Appreciate your help. Thanks
