I just got a used ipod nano from a seller on Ebay amd when I connected it to my itunes library I get " ipod detected but not properly identified". The prior owners name is still on the ipod but there is no music on it.

Is there anyway I can fix this without sending it back to the seller?

These websites do not apply to the ipod nano Factory Reset.
