Hello, thanks for letting me join CCM! I run window's seven, and 10 platform computers! I built my own network with the help of Hughes net. I do not stream yet! I finally can run without an 56 K modem. I am researching running HDD Regeneration program to identify bad sector's and isolate! I have my backup's, multiple!

Hello Dummy23,

I would recommend you to use the hard drive manufacturer’s diagnostic tool and confirm the condition of the drive. Do you suspect that the hard drive is not running as expected? If you have backups, format the hard drive and use a tool to write zeros. Check again with the diagnostics tool and investigate if there are any differences. Depending on the drive’s condition, you may be able to use it with some sector problems, but you should keep making backups and monitoring the HDD’s condition.

Hope this helps
