Installing XP after Windows 7 install

I wish to dual boot XP and 7 and I already have 7 installed. Is this really difficult or can it be done without a ton of trouble? I don't mind using EasyBCD, etc. if that is all that is required. I just do not want to have to uninstall 7 and all my programs and then go thru all the reinstalls. I have done it before many years ago with Windows 98 and Windows XP and that was pure hell!!!!!
