GTA 4 hanging screen solve

Hello,
i have intel dual core processor with 4GB ram 300 GB harddisc my gta4 running slowly like hanging screen what can i do to fix the problem please help me anyone

OK, this is what I found regarding minimum requirements:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz, AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz.
Memory: 1.5GB.
Free Hard Drive Space: 16GB.
Video Card: 256MB NVidia 7900 / 256MB ATI X1900.

So, how much FREE space is on the Drive? What video card are you using?

What is the clock speed of the CPU?

You really need at least 6MB or 8MB to play games that are graphic intensive!
