Power button dell latitude d630

Hello,

i did buy a new ram for my dell latitude d630 , the laptop has no problems i did take the power button band the kyboard and changed the ram but when i did try to power on my computer the power button don't work i tried multiple time taking off and re-placing the keyboard bu nothing .
please i need a solution and sorry for my bad english

Did you handles the chips with ESD straps attached? Did you drain the residual power off of the motherboard prior to removing the chips? Did you take the battery out of the case prior to removing anything? If there was nothing wrong, why did you pen up the case?
