My Acer Aspire ES 14 won't turn onSolved/Closed

Question

Hello, I need help please. What should I do? I already tried removing the battery, hold power button for 30 seconds, plug the cord, but nothing happenned. It still won't turn on. Yesterdey, when I plugged in the cord, the blue light was blinking, but today, it won't blink anymore.



Configuration: iPhone / Chrome 52.0.2743.98

Thank you for the advice KY-WD. We have brought the laptop to an acer service center last Thursday since the warranty haven't expired yet. But we have to wait for 3-5 working days to know the problem.

Hello Kei,

Well, from the information given in your post I understood that when you plug the charger into the jack, you can't see the light blinking and everything remains calm and nothing can be heard from the fan or the hard drive, is that correct?
If it is and you have the warranty of your laptop expired, my suggestion is to take out the hard drive and try to connect it to another computer through SATA-USB cable. If your hard drive spins up on a different computer and it is recognized there, but cannot power up on your laptop, then the problem is hiding probably in the power supply unit on your motherboard. While on another PC, I suggest you to make a backup of your files just in case.
You could bring your laptop to a technician to make a test of the power connector and/or the power jack center because they might have got damaged.
