Problems with my PS3 connecting to the Internet

Hello,
So I've been having problems with my PS3 connecting to the Internet. I'm not sure how to explain it to where it makes sense but it's connected to a router that doesn't even exist anymore but somedays it works and I'm able to sign in to psn and somedays it doesn't I've tried to change the SSID to the one I have now but it won't connect to it or any other one besides the old one. Please help

Delete all network connections, and start over! Make certain the bands are B/G. The PS3 cannot use N rated routers!
