Hello,
I have a VAIO laptop..my cat jumped on my keyboard last night and pushed a bunch of buttons...it locked up...my hubby accidentally closed it...now when I try to start it up, it goes from the VAIO screen to bouncing back n forth between a black screen and a white screen...I'm lost !! Please help !!

what O/S is it? can you boot it in safe mode?

Sorry !! Its a windows 7.. I've tried restating it while pressing the f8 key, bit did no good

I'm hitting f8 as I restart but nothing so far..no safe mode, I mean...lol

Try this it sometimes works wonders...

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
