If Then Formula [Closed]

I need to count radios. When someone checks out a radio I want Excel to add up how many radios are out and how many are left. I added data validation to each cell so they can just pick which radio they are checking out, but then at the bottom I want it to say, "1 radio checked out". When the next radio (say radio number 10) gets checked out, I want the total to say, "2 radios checked out". What formula should I use?
