Screen goes completely black

hi
I have a proline laptop from homeChoise the problem is that when I turn it in it does display bat after accepting the password the screen goes completely black....

I've tried restarting it bt won't turn on the display please help

Can you boot it into safe mode? Can you press the windows key after it goes blank and type explorer?
