HP 15 laptop won't power on

My HP15 laptop won't power on correctly. The white power light on the side is on, which makes me think the power is on but the screen is black. There is no noise coming from laptop. Power cord plugged in and the charge light is orange. What could be wrong?

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
