Conditional Formatting (more than 3) in Excel

Hello,
I want to select a colom containing discription's Example (HATS)(bats)(cats) if this criterea is found i want the rows to the left that corisponds to this colored

Suppose your desired info are in column D, then be selecting column A1 TO B3 or onward put these conditions by selecting formatting ................

Condition 1 : =$D2="HATS"
Condition 2 : =$D2="BATS"
Condition 3 : =$D2="CATS"

I want more than 3 and up to 10 conditions
i want to select a colom containing discription's Example (HATS)(bats)(cats)(dogs)(birds) if this criterea is found i want the rows to the left that corisponds to this colored.

It may require a macro, can you supply me one.

It can be easily done on MS Excel 2007. My macro skill is not good enough but i'll try to check it out ......
