Hi there,
Have you any any ransomware pop up asking you to pay XX amount for them to release your data?
Do you have any backups of your files? If not, they're lost.
Go to https://www.eset.com/us/home/online-scanner/ and run that.
then go to https://www.malwarebytes.com/ and install and run the free version.
Run both scans until your PC comes back clean.
Have you any any ransomware pop up asking you to pay XX amount for them to release your data?

The .virus files extension are encrypted files done by ransomware.
To date no way was found to decrypt the files and delete the ransomware expect reinstalling the operating system.
If you pay the ransom, it is unknown if the scoundrels know how to decrypt the files nor if they would.
