Could you provide some more details. We cannot help if we know nothing about the hardware/software you use.
What speakers / headphones do you use? What are they connected to? Laptop, desktop pc, what brand model?
If you can provide is with some more info we can certainly try to resolve your problem, however we are not clairvoyant. :)

It would be better if you turn on your hardware from the control panel. If your headphones are working fine on other devices then this is the only solution.
