Dota2 is a game that uses the Source engine. It has no support for direct x 12, so it will run in directx 11 on both W7 and W10. Both W7 and W10 are capable of running directx 11 titles, so it should not really matter which version you prefer to use. However you might be able to squeese out a few mover fps simply by using windows 10, this however depends on the hardware you are using.
In general though, if it works, don't fix it.
