Hard disk only one is detected

Hello,

I have 2 HDD but when I connect both. In bios its detecting only one
but my both HDD is Ok
only one is connecting . When i connect first then second is not connecting when second will be connect first will not connect. I have change my SMPS also then also coming same problem
and i have reset my bios also plz give the solution

Hi Ankit,

You have done pretty good trying to solve the issue. I would check the motherboard manufacturer’s web page for some BIOS updates. You have tried switching the SATA ports, right? If possible, try connecting one of the drives as external drive, using a powered adapter.
In general, this could be a power supply issue. It is possible, that for some reason, the PSU cannot supply properly both drives. Another option is a motherboard failure but to confirm that, you need to consult with a technician.
