A2 has a Text or a Value?
You said it has a word "Seller" or "Buyer".
Please, give us an example and show us what is the desired result.

Thanks for the prompt reply on my inquiry. Here it is
Create the following formula for the Pend Buyer (column E):
If the Type (column A) is Buyer and the Price (column B) is not blank, then multiply column B times column C and then add column D.
If the Type (column A) is Seller and the Price (column B) is not blank, then multiply column B times column C.

Type Price Commission% Bonus Pending Buyer
Buyer 120,000 5% 200
Buyer 105,000 6% 200
Seller 240,000 6%
Seller 185,000 7%
