Connect the PS3 to the TV

Hello,
I am trying to connect the PS3 to the TV and I have put in all the cables into the TV and the PS3. then when I should start the TV, I get this response: Mode Not Supported. what should I do? and the box to the TV works not so good on, I will submit responses when I search on the Internet. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong elr what is going to fix this.

What type of connector are you using? RGB or HDMI? Did you put the right leads into the right ports?
