Hello,
Hope there are those who can offer good advice. I'm trying to 'root" a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and am running into far too much trouble. I'll give the phone specs first, then proceed with which apps I've tried (all of which failed to root). SPECS: Samsung Galaxy S5 (SMG990A), build no.# MMB29M.G900AUCS4DPH4- Android 6.0.1. I've tried Kingo, Super SU, Root Easy Installer, Root Android and others, all to no success. I have 'developer options" on phone.Simply, I just want to root the phone. Can someone tell how to accomplish this?

We would love to help you, but you must be able to prove that you are the phone's legitimate owner and you can't. Everyday mobiles are stolen, although you may be honest, we do not wish to help potential criminals.
