There several reasons why machines slow down:
1. Not enough ram.
2. Over abundant temporary files
3. Fragmented hard disk
4. Clogged registry files and most often
5. a virus.
Where do you want to start troubleshooting ?
When you ask for help, people will be able to give you more accurate help if you tell:
What is your machine's make and model?
What is your operating system ?
What is your antivirus ?
