Hello,
What do you guys think about DIY data recovery? Do you think it is worth enough to trying recover data from your damaged hard drive using a free tools? As we all know hard drives are very sensitive and needs care when handling. Any opinion?

Recuva will do a better job and it's totally free.

Thanks for the insight. Yes, As a professional we recommended few free tools not all free tools.

Recuva is free and it does the job just as good if not better than shareware. We at CCM prefer recommending efficient freeware to our users and members. We don't advertise shareware on the forum which you may be tempting to do.
