Formula help - if cell contains a number, +1.

Hi there,

Just a simple one for you guys!

I'm currently making a spreadsheet to tally up sickness days and occurrences. I currently enter how many sick days colleague have per week in cells D5, E5, F5 etc.

I need cell (B5) to increase by 1 if a following cell on the same row includes a number.

For example if D5 has a value of 3, E5 0, F5 1 and G5 2 then B5 would = 3. (3 True 1 False).

Does this make sense?

Danny, Good morning.

Try to use:

B5 --> =COUNTIF(D5:G5, ">0")

Is that what you want?
