Copying cond. format for entire row based on 1 cell to other rowSolved/Closed

Question

I have conditional formatting for an entire row based on the value of 1 cell. For example: cell value>$A$2 = red, cell value<$A$2 = green.  This format is applied for the entire row.
I want to copy this formatting to the next 150 rows where the formatting in each row is based on cell 2 in each row.
When I copy them over, they revert back to be based on cell A2 for every row.

I hope this makes sense.

TheBigMac, Good afternoon.

Are you talking about rows or columns?

It looks like you want Column A to have rules based on cell at row 2.

And you then want to copy this format to other columns, type: B, C, D, up to ET.

Just remove the $ sign from the column in the formula. 

Before: cell value>$A$2 = red
Now...: cell value>A$2 = red
