Hello there! Recently I copied files and pics from my computer to a flash drive in order to transfer them to a new computer I bought. Both computers are running Windows 7. When I put the drive into the new computer nothing seems to have been copied, yet when put into any other computer files show up. Is this more a computer issue? I also tried to install new software (Office and a Video Editing) but they didn't download completely. Thanks for any help!

It's more like a Windows issue on that computer.

Check if the files are not in hidden mode.

Click on "Start" -->Run --> Type cmd and press Enter.

Here I assume your pendrive drive letter as G:

Enter this command.

attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*

--> Press Enter

You can copy the above command --> Right-click in the Command Prompt and

paste it.

Note : Replace the letter g with your pen drive letter.

Now check your pen drive for the files.

Good Luck

Connect the USB pen drive or flash drive to PC. Open Windows Explorer > Go to Tools > Folder Options > Go to View Tab > Check “Show Hidden Files”. ... To make the pen drive data showing, type the commands: attrib -h -r -s /s /d k:\*.* and press Enter. Here, you need to replace “K” with your pen drive letter
