Dell m1330 xps laptop no vga or hmdi ports functioning

Hello,

Have a Dell Laptop m-1330. OS is win 7 32 bit. Screen quit working but no worries I always use an external monitor Right? Nope! I had recently upgraded to win 7 32bit and the VGA nor the HDMI function now. Tried the Func + F8 thing no dice. A little help?
