Gateway ZX4250 Factory Restore

Hello,

I'm trying to do a factory restore of a Gateway ZX4250.

It runs to 100% of the "Restoring System" and then to 99% of the "Updating System". It then hangs there for hours.

I've done this twice after first waiting 18 hours and now into the 2nd run waiting 4 hours.

How long should I wait or is this normal?

You might have to wait longer! What Operating system is it? I had a PC loading updates for 2 days straight. I have seen some processes run for four days!

It's running Win7.

I've also had uodates take a long time to complete.
It's just odd that all the uodates are being done in the last 1%.

I'll just let it go and see what happens in the next day or so.

If you have another PC to boot that drive behind, you can run a chkdsk /r just to be certain it isnt the HDD.

It's still running the last 1% in the Update System section. Been running now for about 15 hours.
