Headphone's dont work

hi, I have been trying to get my headphones to work on my laptop for sometime now and everything I try does not work. I have checked for updated drivers for windows 10 and it tells me I have the most current updated driver, when I got to sound>playback devices and plug in the headphones, nothing shows up for me and I don't know what else to do, could it be an issue with the headphone ports themselves?

Try your headphones on another computer, tell us if they work.
